Dear MTS Community,

Last year, we celebrated an enduring truth at the heart of our school: You Make MTS, MTS. Each individual—whether student, family member, ProComm, or a member of our alumni community—plays a vital role in creating the vibrant, welcoming community that defines Mount Tamalpais School. The contributions, perspectives, and dedication of each person here collectively shape the MTS experience, ensuring we remain a place where Education is Revered and Learning is Joyful.

I'm thrilled to share that, thanks to this spirit of generosity, our Annual Fund raised over $1 million yet again last year. This is an incredible milestone and a testament to the commitment of our families and friends to the vision and future of our school. Every contribution fuels our mission to deliver on our mission and values. You truly made MTS, MS.

With your support, we also embarked on a transformative journey for our campus. Early philanthropic commitments enabled us to launch and complete Phase 1 of our campus renovation. This initial phase marks a foundational step in creating an environment that meets the needs of today’s students and anticipates the possibilities outlined in our Into Action Strategic Plan. From updated learning spaces to more functional, sustainable facilities, these renovations reflect our dedication to creating a physical environment that enhances the exceptional teaching and learning that define the MTS experience.

As we reflect on last year, we are reminded of the strength we draw from each other. Every single member of our community—whether a student eagerly exploring new ideas, a parent offering time and resources, or a teacher inspiring a love for learning—brings something unique that makes MTS truly remarkable.

Directed giving

Into Action Capital Campaign

Started in the spring of 2023, the Into Action Capital Campaign is a mutl-year, comprehensive effort that funds campus renovations and new construction, financial assistance priorities, and Professional Community initiatives. Nancy Tracy Endowment Fund

Established in 2020 upon Nancy Tracy’s retirement from MTS, this fund provides a financial award every other year to a member of the Professional Community.
